Delivery Day Reminder
If your delivery location is one of the home locations (Lynnwood, Bellevue, Bothell, Vancouver, Clackamas, and NE Portland), please remember that you must pick up your product no later than the cut-off time we advise you of for that location. As this does vary by location be sure to read the delivery notifications, along with the post-delivery email reminders we send to you when product has been left for you. These homeowners are generously offering their walkways, garages, and driveways for our use, we really need to be respectful of their wishes to not have people wandering around late at night or leaving product overnight completely.
Hopefully we're now past the hot weather so the risk of frozen product thawing quickly if left outdoors too long is less severe. That said, we're quickly approaching the rainy season. And with it comes rain drenched boxes when there's too much product for our limited under-cover space. This is especially an issue in our Bellevue delivery location. Please do your best to have someone meet the truck at the delivery location so we're not having to stack any product, uncovered, in the rain.
Unclaimed product remaining at the site after the pick-up cut-off times is subject to forfeiture and may be thrown away at the homeowner's discretion, In the event that you forget to pick up a confirmed delivery on the delivery date, you are responsible for going to the delivery location and disposing of any spoiled product.
We leave product at these select few locations as a convenience for members schedules. We do so with the understanding that it will be picked up shortly after we leave. Because we're unable to control the storage and handling of product once it's delivered, ownership of your product(s) transfers to you when the delivery truck drops product off at the delivery location, whether you're there to accept it directly from the truck, or it's left at the location for you. Unfortunately, any product that is left for a member will not be refunded if it's missing, spoiled due to being left out too long, or disposed of because it wasn't picked up by the cut-off time. This has been the case for a number of years. If you're unable to make it to the delivery site prior to the cut-off time, please arrange to have someone else pick up your products for you as soon as possible.
We're grateful for any members who return the Happy Tails chub cases when the truck is at a delivery location, as we often have the need to reuse them. The boxes our other products are packaged in generally aren't reused by us, so we ask you to recycle those.
